Come and See

John 1:35-51

When the evidence is available, when witnesses are accessible, and when suspects are willing to talk, there’s nothing like seeing for yourself. Cold-case investigators don’t have that luxury. They can’t always examine the physical evidence, or even talk to witnesses or suspects who may be inaccessible or have passed away. The text we’ll examine next time chronicles the first contact Jesus has with five men who later became apostles. These men were looking for the Messiah and checked Jesus against the evidence of the OT Scriptures, come and see what that evidence led them to conclude about Jesus.

The Great Conspiracy

The Great Conspiracy

Listen as Pastor Tim tells about the greatest conspiracy of all time in a first-person sermon. “People love conspiracies. A conspiracy is a scheme, to hide truth, to mask reality, to distort the facts. Conspiracies intrigue us. The greater the cover-up the greater the intrigue. I was part of the greatest conspiracy in human history—the conspiracy to hide the resurrection of one called Jesus the Nazarene.”
