John 20:19-29

Have you ever asked, “Who am I?” “Why am I here?” or “Does my life matter?” Have you ever wondered if you’d never been born would anyone have noticed or cared? Do you want to know what life is about? Are you searching for truth? If so, you are in the same boat many of us are. In a first-person sermon, Pastor Tim brings the apostle known as “Doubting Thomas” to life and tells of his struggle with these questions and his quest for truth.

Come and See

That You May Believe

When the evidence is available, when witnesses are accessible, and when suspects are willing to talk, there’s nothing like seeing for yourself. Cold-case investigators don’t have that luxury. They can’t always examine the physical evidence, or even talk to witnesses or suspects who may be inaccessible or have passed away. The text we’ll examine next time chronicles the first contact Jesus has with five men who later became apostles. These men were looking for the Messiah and checked Jesus against the evidence of the OT Scriptures, come and see what that evidence led them to conclude about Jesus.
