Come and See

John 1:35-51

When the evidence is available, when witnesses are accessible, and when suspects are willing to talk, there’s nothing like seeing for yourself. Cold-case investigators don’t have that luxury. They can’t always examine the physical evidence, or even talk to witnesses or suspects who may be inaccessible or have passed away. The text we’ll examine next time chronicles the first contact Jesus has with five men who later became apostles. These men were looking for the Messiah and checked Jesus against the evidence of the OT Scriptures, come and see what that evidence led them to conclude about Jesus.

You have the right...

That You May Believe

Americans enjoy several rights guaranteed by the Bill of Rights. More than most, law enforcement officers are familiar with these rights. In fact, officers are required to advise a suspect of their Fifth Amendment rights. Movies and TV shows are replete with dramatic scenes of officers reading a suspect his rights, “You have the right to remain silent....” Did you know the Bible gives us an even greater right? Come and hear Pastor Tim tell us about the greatest right given to humanity.
