A Group Bible Study

October 8, 2019

John's Gospel

Next month Cop Church will have a new format! It will be more informal and will center around a group Bible study. Rather than having a time of worshiping and listening to a message, we’ll join in a time of visiting and studying God’s Word together that will start at 6:30 pm. Please join us for our continued study in John’s gospel.

Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People?

“Why Do Bad Things Happen to Good People?” is a question many of us wrestle with. Many who believe in a loving God have trouble reconciling how a loving God allows bad things to happen to good people. Some believe the victims themselves are to blame. Others say that there is no God, or if there is, he is either not loving or powerless against evil. The question and answers are not new. In Jesus’ day the popular answers were, “They aren’t good” or “There is no loving God”.
